SHIPPING POLICIES

-All of our pieces are handcrafted. All mala bead jewelry is made to order and each bead in the necklaces is knotted by hand, cleansed + activated by Karla before it ships out. In order to ensure and deliver high quality products made with love + care, please allow 3-12 business days for your item to be handmade and shipped out. If you need something sooner than this, please email us at info@tiklari.com and we will do our best to accommodate our needs. Thank you!
-Please note that all stones are natural and sometimes vary in color tone. We try our best to make them all identical, but Nature does its thing. Thank you for understanding.
-Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or US holidays.
-International orders ship via USPS First Class or UPS. Please refer below for delivery times - also note that some countries do NOT offer tracking once it leaves the USA using USPS (regular post) shipping. 
-You will receive tracking for your package in an email. Please contact us if you have not received it within 10 days of your order shipping out for US orders. For international orders, please contact us once the time window below (depending on the shipping method you selected) has completed.
-For all other situations, we will do our best to help you and evaluate your situation on a case to case basis.

Customs Fees
PLEASE NOTE THAT I UNFORTUNATELY CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CUSTOMS/IMPORTS FEES FOR SHIPMENTS MADE TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE USA. I WILL SHIP YOUR ITEMS WITH A CUSTOMS INVOICE AND ALL NECESSARY PAPERWORK NEEDED FOR THE ITEMS TO ENTER ANOTHER COUNTRY. CUSTOMS AND IMPORT FEES VARY IN EVERY COUNTRY. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE CHARGES ARE SEPARATE FROM SHIPPING FEES AND DO NOT DEPEND IN ANY WAY ON ME OR MY COMPANY. IMPORTANT
If for any reason the package is refused upon delivery, import fees are not paid and/or the package is not claimed, we will have the package returned to us. We will contact you again and we will happily re-ship your product if you cover the shipping expenses. If we do not hear back from you within 10 business days of receiving your product, we will refund you the total amount you paid minus any shipping/customs fees incurred + a 30% restocking fee.

 

RETURNS + EXCHANGES  

If you receive your item and it does not meet your expectations, we are happy to offer you a return for store credit if you contact us within 5 days upon receiving your item. You must contact us within this time period and the package must be shipped within 7 days upon its arrival to you. We will go by the delivery item and date marked on the tracking number we provided. We cannot accept returns or exchanges after this time period. 

Each piece is magical + unique. Please note that gemstones can slightly vary in color + texture, as they are all natural.

In order to ensure your piece has a long life, please refer to the CARE section.
 
Item must be unused, free from odors (cigarette smoke, perfume, cologne, lotion), in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. If item is damaged, missing parts, or not meeting these guidelines, the item will be shipped back to you and we will not be able to offer a refund. At this time, because we are such a small company, we appreciate if the return cost can be covered by you.

Only regular priced items may be refunded. ANY discounted / on sale or CUSTOM MADE items are not eligible for a refund. Any bracelets made to size or with initials can be returned for 70% of its original price.

If your piece is BROKEN upon receiving your item we will:

- Refund your money for the cost of the jewelry back to the original form of payment. We currently cannot offer returns for shipping expenses.
OR
- Exchange it for any item of equal value. If greater value, we will ship it to you once we receive the monetary difference. If lesser value, we will refund the difference back to the original form of payment. We will ship the new item back to you at no cost if you are within the U.S.A. We are sorry but we cannot currently cover International shipping expenses for exchanged items at this time. 

DEFECTS
We love our customers and stand by the quality of our products. We always make it our best effort to design, craft and deliver great quality pieces. However, we are also human and things may happen. If your piece is damaged in any way when you receive it, please contact us within 5 business days upon receiving your product. You can ship it back to us and we will replace it for a new one at no cost if you are within the USA. We are sorry but we cannot currently cover International shipping expenses at this time, and we cannot take any pieces back if they are not shipped back within a week of contacting us.

 

LOST ITEMS 
This is rarity, but if you suspect your item has been lost in the mail, please contact us. We cannot be responsible for lost packages if you contact us after 30 days after placing your order. Thanks for understanding.

ITEMS ON SALE
All items bought on sale, using any discount or as part of any sale are final.

 

REPAIRS 

I stand by the quality of our craftsmanship. Each piece is made with delicate, high-quality crystals, stones, and gold plated details with the utmost care.

Your mala beads should not break easily if you follow our care recommendations, as they are made with high quality materials. If your piece breaks within 60 days of purchase and you followed our care recommendations, please reach out to us and we will repair your piece. 
We highly value + appreciate honesty and courtesy with these matters. There will potentially be a repair charge (+cost of any missing pieces), depending on what happened to the necklace. Thank you for understanding! 

If your mala needs to be restrung:

*Free of charge if there was a manufacturing defect (within 30-day window after you made your purchase)
*$60 if it needs to be done after 60 days of your purchase

In terms of the gold plated details: deterioration over time is natural, as with all gold plating items. Please refer to our care recommendations to see how you can best maintain the quality of your piece through time. 

If your mala necklace breaks after 60 days, and is cared for properly it is usually not a reflection of the quality of the piece itself. If you want it repaired, t
here will be a charge for your repair - again, it will depend on what type of repair you need. Some examples are:

$10: broken tassel
$60: complete re-knotting
(+ any missing materials)

It is traditionally believed that when a mala breaks, it has fulfilled its purpose and cycle: it opens up a new chapter and it is time for setting a new intention.
 Although it may be sad to "lose" your beloved piece, you can experience it as practice of letting go of the material for a higher purpose. Honor and celebrate your mala and what it has brought you. You can read more about this in our Mala FAQ's. 

If your bracelet needs to be restrung because you want a different size than the one you initially ordered (not because of a mistake on our end), a small fee will be charged 
per bracelet to cover my time. Thanks for understanding!
